OSHA
requires that employers provide first aid supplies. Additional
supplies may be necessary depending upon the type of work and
the conditions of the work environment. For example, employers
in the construction industry must provide employees with first
aid kits in weatherproof containers with contents in individually
sealed packages. When workers are in an area where corrosive materials
are present, emergency eyewash and/or body flush facilities are
necessary. |
