What
is my sign printed on and will it last? Along with looking good,
your sign should last a long time. Where is your sign going and
for how long? Your material choice depends on where your sign
is going. For indoor, or light duty areas, start with Pressure
Sensitive Vinyl or Polyethylene Plastic. We also offer an extensive
line of materials that can withstand the harshest, abusive environments,
such as Accu-Shield™. Be sure and look for our 5, 10 and
15-year guarantee symbols. Material ordering codes can be found
next to each material name.

for marking purposes when the lights go out. The surface glows a
visible green-yellow. Any light source can “energize”
the vinyl - the longer exposure to light, the longer glow time.
Within the first 1/2 hour of no light, the glow is intense to be
most visible. In natural light the color is green/yellow for visibility.
This composite sign is resistant to abrasions, moisture, and most
chemicals. While the service temperature range for the bonded glow-in-the-dark
vinyl is -30°F to 175°F, polycarbonate itself has a service
temperature range of -50°F to 190°F. Has rounded corners
with 3/16” mounting holes. In natural light the color is green/yellow
for visibility. Surface is resistant to abrasions, moisture, and
most chemicals. Service temperature range is -50°F to 190°
F. Meets ASTM, DIN, IMO and ISO standards. |

use - ideal for indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. Has good
impact resistance and non-glare finish. The .055” thick polyethylene
sign is screen-printed onto the surface. Has enough flex to mount
on slightly curved areas, such as pipes, poles, and containers.
Service temperature range is -112°F to 168°F. Has rounded
corners with 3/16” mounting holes. |
FIBERGLASS
- (EF)
Abrasion- and impact-resistant, fiberglass can also withstand chemical
and corrosive environments. The legend is screen-printed on the
surface of .090” thick rigid fiberglass. The image is further
protected with a clear coat finish, which resists fading, cracking,
and peeling. Sign can also be printed on both sides. Fiberglass
will not crack or chip, even when exposed to extreme temperatures.

in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Legend
is screen-printed on the surface. Aluminum is rust - and corrosion-resistant,
withstanding extreme temperature and outdoor environments. While
the service temperature range for the bonded vinyl is -30°F
to 200°F, aluminum itself withstands extreme temperature ranges.
Has rounded corners. Please specify location of mounting holes -
1/4” corner holes or 3/8” post-mount holes. |
DIAMOND-GRADE™
REFLECTIVE ALUMINUM - (XA)
Diamond-grade signs are the ultimate in attention getting. The combination
of fluorescent colors and micro-prismatic, retro-reflectivity in
the sheeting, provides superior luminance and visibility - catching
the eye, even at wide angles - and in broad daylight. The composite
sheeting is bonded to heavy-duty .080” aluminum. Diamond-grade
reflective sheeting is accepted by the Federal Highway Administration
(FHWA) Department of Transportation (DOT). Legend is screen-printed
on the surface. Aluminum is rust - and corrosion - resistant, withstanding
extreme outdoor environmental conditions. While the service temperature
for the bonded sheeting is -30°F to 160° F, aluminum itself
withstands extreme temperature ranges. Has rounded corners. In addition
