Solutions against Coronavirus. Be Prepared.

We've all heard of what has now been deemed the "Coronavirus", no one wants to catch this new health concern so what are the ways to prevent it. Here at Calolympic safety we are doing everything we can to help our customers and community stay safe. While we are currently attempting to ramp up our inventory to help our customers there are small ways the consumer can stay safe without the use of personal protection equipment.

The Key word here is prevention. Just like most viruses what we know for sure about the Coronavirus is that its spread through coughing, sneezing and touching, once the virus enters a host it infects the respiratory system. So just like any flu season the same preventative measures we use against the cold or flu we can use against the Coronavirus.

  • Using hand sanitize. Washing your hands for at least 20 seconds under hot water.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • If you feel ill do not go to work.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or mask then throw it away afterwards.
  • Frequently clean and disinfect touched objects and surfaces.
Due to the increase in demand from our customers and our community we needed to put a temporarily hold on sales in disposable gloves, coveralls and respirators. Our Distributors are doing their best to supply us and we are doing our best to meet the demands of our customers. In lieu of these products we have put together a Preventive Flu kit that can be used to prevent the spread of the virus. Our Kit comes with the following:
  • 5 each N95 Flat-Fold Respirators
  • 10 pairs Nitrile Gloves
  • 5 each P.A.W.S. Antimicrobial Hand Wipes
  • 1 each Coretex 0.75-ounce Hand Sanitizer

As stated before we have limited supply of this kit. Once we have sold out, we cannot give an ETA of when you could expect us to have this restocked. The CoronaVirus has made its way around the media but the virus as of this post has been considered a low health risk. None the less you need to stay safe and keep your employees safe. Calolympic safety is here to keep you and your employees in compliance, and most importantly safe.
